Get your free pass to see "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas," on October 28, 2008 from F.I.L.M. (Finding Inspiration in Literature and Movies). This free event is provided by Heartland Truly Moving Pictures and Miramax Films. Apparently the screening comes with a Q&A session with some of the talent from the film and the author, as well as giveaways of the book. I have to say that this movie looks good. You can get a movie guide from their site, here to learn more about the movie.
To get a pass from F.I.L.M. You will need to email them and follow the instructions detailed on their site here. Chances are that the offer may be expired, since it appears they have been publicizing for awhile and they were giving away group passes (10 at a time) as of 10/17/08. Atlanta is one city that I know of, that has passes still available. You can sign up with a direct link without waiting for an email or RSVP code, after the jump (V.I.P. only due to limited supply).
Synopsis: Set during World War II, a story seen through the innocent eyes of Bruno, the eight-year-old son of the commandant at a concentration camp, whose forbidden friendship with a Jewish boy on the other side of the camp fence has startling and unexpected consequences.
