Frugal Fashion Find: Gryson™ for Target® Handbag

Gryson™ for Target® Woven Tote Bag - Black

Oh my goodness! I am soooo happy. I have been eyeing this Gryson™ for Target® bag since it first hit the store, but something about buying an accessory at Target for $50, just made me scream, "Oh hells no!" (I used my inside voice, of course). Low and behold, it is now an online clearance item, selling for a whopping $12.49! Now, that’s a price I can live with. I probably should have stopped with that, and checked out...but I just couldn’t resist. I rationalized that I don’t really shop for myself too often, being both cheap and picky, and I would have spent way more on gas trying to get to a store that actually carried my coveted bag :-D.

Here’s a listing of what I splurged on:

Frugal Tip: Fashion for $8.98 a Pop!

SJP in dress, blazer, and striped top by BITTEN

I have to admit, one of my weaknesses is shopping. I love fashion. But over the years, I have noticed that trying to subscribe to fashion trends has cost me more than just a pretty penny (I’m too embarrassed to share just how much). Anyhoo, imagine my excitement when I found Steve and Barry’s. For those who don’t know, Steve and Barry’s is a department store that sells clothing, shoes, and accessories for the entire family. Right now, each article of clothing, jewelry, or pair of shoes will cost you $8.98.

Get your free sample of Maybelline Mineral Power Foundation. Before you try a drugstore makeup, it’s always a good idea to try it before you put in the investment. Unlike department stores, most drugstores will not take back a beauty product.

Freebie: Pantene Pro V Color Expressions

Here’s your chance to try before you buy. Get a free sample of Pantene Pro V Color Expressions, and coupon for Perfect 10 from Nice & Easy, from Walmart. I’ve received decent sized samples from Walmart before, so this may be a good one. Right now, they’re mailing out the Brunette Expressions Shampoo and Conditioner and Blonde Expressions Shampoo and Conditioner sample packs.

Free Book: "Navigating your Health Benefits for Dummies"

healthbenefits

With the rising cost of gas, everything seems to be going up in price. Like gas, there are other things we can’t afford to do without, like health insurance. At some point we all have to access the healthcare system, and without insurance, the cost of care can bankrupt those without it. Imagine my excitement when I found a free "For Dummies," book that gives you step-by-step instructions on choosing coverage.
