A few years ago, one of my friends convinced me to buy a $7, 8 oz. jar candle from a mom-and-pop country store.  She told me it would make my entire house smell like cake. Skeptical, I brought it home and lit the wick. After a few minutes, the aroma brought me back to a time when I used to lick the bowl right after mixing a batch of yellow cake mix.  I have since moved away from that small country store, and have wondered when I'd come across something that came close to that scent.  Imagine my surprise when I found this heavenly scent in a very affordable body wash. 

Last month, I was asked to test and review Caress Evenly Gorgeous line of products - made with Burnt Brown Sugar and Karite Butter. After popping the cap, the first thing I noticed was the aroma, which instantly relaxed me. I am very sensitive to smells, so if a scent is too strong, I tend to develop a migraine. With Caress Evenly Gorgeous, it was the exact opposite -- I felt like I was drifting off into a bed of clouds (it smells that good!). The second thing I noticed was the the luxuriously, thick consistency - a definite plus for this body wash. Judging by the consistency alone, I could tell my skin would be well moisturized when I was finished with my shower (which, it was).  Another positive feature, is the addition of the exfoliating brown sugar grains in the body wash and bar soap. They are enough to gently exfoliate the skin, but are also non-abrasive, so you won't feel like your scraping your skin like some other exfoliating body washes can make you feel. Definitely safe to use every day, and can be used as part of your body exfoliation routine to keep that nasty, scaly "Winter skin" away.

After using this product for a month, I can honestly say that this will be a main staple in my beauty routine.  I have been known to use products like Victoria's Secret, Garden Botanika, The Body Shop, etc. on a daily basis, and I have yet to use anything that can top Caress Evenly Gorgeous in quality, not to mention value. My only complaint is it appears they don't have a fragrance spray nor lotion in the line. Other than that, like my toothpaste, these products will be routinely added to my cart at the drug store (I just hope they never stop making them).
